These Terms
& Conditions govern your access and use of the Sawdaghor marketplace
platform, including all mobile applications and the website (“Platform”). By
accessing, browsing, registering, or making any transaction on Sawdaghor, you
agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Platform”
means the Sawdaghor website and all associated Android/iOS mobile applications.
“User/Customer” means any individual who visits, registers, or purchases
products/services through the Platform. “Vendor/Seller” means any third-party
merchant authorized to sell products or services on Sawdaghor. “Sawdaghor/We/Us/Our”
refers to the owners and operators of the Sawdaghor marketplace. “Order” means
any confirmed purchase made by a Customer.
2. Eligibility
To use
Sawdaghor, you must:
Be at least 18 years old. Have legal
capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use the Platform in compliance with
the laws of Bangladesh.

Account Registration & Security
Users must provide accurate and complete
information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your login credentials. Sawdaghor shall not be liable for
unauthorized access due to misuse of your account. Sawdaghor reserves the right
to suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious, fraudulent, or abusive
behavior.
4. Marketplace Nature of Service
Sawdaghor is an online marketplace
connecting Customers with independent Vendors.
Sawdaghor itself does not own, manufacture,
or warranty products listed by Vendors unless explicitly stated. Vendor is
solely responsible for inventory, product quality, packaging, pricing,
warranty, authenticity, and after-sales obligations.
5. Product Information & Pricing
Vendors must ensure accuracy of product
descriptions, specifications, price, stock levels, and images.
Prices may change at any time without
prior notice. Errors in listing (price/stock/description) may result in
cancellation or modification of an order. Sawdaghor reserves the right to
correct inaccurate information at any time.
6. Order Placement & Acceptance
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance.
Orders may be cancelled by Sawdaghor or
Vendor due to:
Stock unavailability, Pricing errors, Delivery
limitations
Non-compliance with internal risk or
fraud checks
Customer will be notified in such cases.
7. Payment Terms
Sawdaghor supports:
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Mobile Financial Services (e.g., bKash,
Nagad, Rocket)
Debit/Credit Cards (if applicable)
Sawdaghor
may use third-party payment gateways. Payment failures or delays caused by
third parties are not under Sawdaghor’s liability.
8. Delivery & Fulfillment
Delivery timelines are estimates only;
delays may occur due to logistics, vendor processing, weather, strikes, or
unforeseen events. Risk of loss transfers to the Customer upon delivery. Customers
must inspect the product at delivery and report issues immediately.
9. Return, Refund & Replacement

General rules:
Eligible returns must comply with
Sawdaghor’s official Return & Refund Policy.
Products damaged due to customer misuse
or after acceptance will not qualify.
Refund method depends on payment mode
(COD, MFS, card, etc.).
Sawdaghor reserves the right to verify
claims before approval.
10. Vendor Obligations
Vendors
must:
Comply with
Bangladesh Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009. Ensure product authenticity and
legal compliance. Maintain updated stock and pricing. Not upload counterfeit,
illegal, restricted, or unsafe products. Cooperate with dispute resolutions and
customer support investigations. Sawdaghor may suspend or remove vendors for
violations.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate shipping and contact
information.
Not misuse the Platform (fraudulent
orders, abuse, harmful activities).
Not attempt to manipulate reviews,
ratings, or transactions.
Not engage in behavior violating
Bangladeshi law.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property (design, logo,
content, software, brand assets) of Sawdaghor is legally protected. Users may
not copy, redistribute, reproduce, or exploit any portion of the Platform
without written permission.
13. User-Generated Content
Reviews, comments, and uploads must be
lawful, non defamatory, non-abusive, and not violate third-party rights. You
grant Sawdaghor non-exclusive rights to use such content for promotional or
operational purposes.
14.
Prohibited Activities
Users and Vendors may not:
Sell illegal or restricted products.
Engage in fraud, money laundering, or
deceptive activities.
Use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or
attempt to hack the Platform.
Post misleading or offensive content.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Sawdaghor is not liable for product
defects, misrepresentations, or damages caused by Vendor products.
Sawdaghor is not responsible for delays,
loss, damages, or service failures caused by third-party logistics or payment
providers.
Sawdaghor is not liable for indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages.
16. Indemnification
Users and Vendors agree to indemnify and
hold Sawdaghor harmless from any claims arising due to:
Violation of these Terms
Illegal activities
Misuse of the Platform
Intellectual property infringement
17. Privacy & Data Protection
Sawdaghor collects and processes user
data as per the Bangladesh Data Protection Guidelines and internal Privacy
Policy. Data may be shared with authorized partners (couriers, payment
gateways) for operational purposes only.
18.
Termination & Suspension
Sawdaghor may suspend or terminate
accounts if:
Violating terms
Fraudulent or harmful behavior
Legal request from authorities
Non-cooperation in disputes
Users may terminate their account at any
time.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of
Bangladesh. Any dispute shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the
appropriate courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
20.
Amendments
Sawdaghor may modify these Terms at any
time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with the effective date. Continued
use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
